SURPRISE!!! Tyler turns the big 3-0!!

Well, I guess after throwing Dad and Brooke surprise parties, and taking part in Brian's, I shouldn't have been surprised to have a surprise party thrown on me. Brooke orchestrated this little plan for months, and it started with a bunch of guys attacking me in my own home with Nerf guns. Actually, they set off fireworks first, then ran into the house to kidnap me. Oh - special thanks to Jesse for making my house smell like rotten eggs with smoke bombs, and Greg for throwing me to the ground in the chaos.

But it was well worth it, as we went to play laser tag while Brooke prepared a party at my parents' house. It was great to see all my friends and family there. And the Titans theme was awesome - from the plates to the cake to the mini-helmets on the tables. What a fantastic day!

My amazing Titans cake by Sam - and it tasted so good with the Twinkie filling!

This is me, being carried in by the guys to my house. I had no clue where I was at this point - I was pretty sure they were carrying me to the middle of the woods for sacrifice.

I couldn't really breathe at this point. And I'm pretty sure my pants were falling off.

What's better than a Gigi's cupcake? A DOZEN GIGI'S CUPCAKES!!!!

Kelsen was so happy to be celebrating my birthday - or so happy to get attention from all the people. Either works for me.
Everyone enjoying the barbecue and sweets - that's what they really came for!

The 30 either stands for what age I'm turning or how many years until the Titans win the Super Bowl.

Everyone is so happy for the camera! And Morgan is so happy she can walk to the party!

Awkward mustache.

Haley hanging out with the birthday boy. Hey, no peeing on me today, just for my birthday!

Kelsen and her devious look. She obviously has opened all my presents for me.

If those three in one picture don't spell trouble, I don't know what does.

The things that made my house smell.

Oh, and let us not forget that the guys also burned giant holes into my lawn with the fireworks! Thanks, friends! No, really - thanks all for making 30 so easy to turn. I love my friends, my family, and my very devious wife who planned this whole surprise. I can't imagine being any age without them all!
