What do you do when you have an afternoon free with the wife and nothing planned? Arrington Vineyards seems like a great place, you're right! We did a little wine-tasting, found a nice swing in the shade, and enjoyed each other's company for a few hours. It seems like Brooke and I have been running a million miles an hour lately, so this was a great change of pace, if just for an afternoon.
My attempt at an artistic picture to enter into a contest for free wine. My resources and talent were rather limited.

Memorial Day Cookout
As if you need a reason to have a cookout, we decided for Memorial Day we'd get the family together for a little get together at the Henson house. Mom and Dad Henson that is, since Dennis isn't super mobile right now. The Yeisers came in from Lexington, the Baughmans came over, and cornhole was set up. Yep, sounds like a good Memorial Day cookout to me!
Me and Russ are doing the very important job of grilling the hamburgers. Which involved a lot of standing around staring at the grill. We handled the task very well.

Kelsen was fascinated by Jack, who was equally fascinated by this person that was actually closer to his size than anyone else he'd seen lately.
Kelsen getting serious about getting through that hole to find Jack.
Such a nice day to just sit outside. One of the two days we've had this summer that wasn't painfully hot.
