The World of Clomid
So today marked day one of starting Clomid. For most of you out there reading this you already know Tyler and I have been trying to have kids for the past year. We have also endured the many questions such as when are you going to have a baby, or when are you guys going to have kids....I usually just smile and say your guess is as good as mine, but I have also learned many questions that I will never ask a young couple ever again. This past year has been pretty challenging to say the least. I never dreamed it would be this difficult. I mean aren't you suppose to get married, buy a house, have kids, etc? No one informed me how long and drawn out it can be. And for those that know me well, you know patience is not one of my best qualities. So, the reason for this post you ask? Well if anyone reading this has ever taken Clomid let me know how your experience was. I keep hearing about all the possible side effects which freaks me out, so let me know your story. I'm sure that in future posts I'll keep you updated on how things go, but in the meantime keeping your fingers crossed for us and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Halloween Party
So for those of you that may follow us on facebook, you have probably already seen these pics so I apologize, but I'm still in the process of getting the blog updated. This past year for Halloween Ty and I decided to have a costume party. It was actually more my idea simply because I'd never been to a costume party, so we just decided to host one ourselves. As you can see I was obviously a witch and Tyler was a redneck....or as he liked to call himself a UT fan. As most of you know Tyler is a big Auburn fan, as where I am a huge UT fan...so football season can be very interesting in our house. Anyway, we all had a great time, but I soon realized it was a lot of work to get ready for, but totally worth it in the end.
Babies of '09
Okay, I know this is really really late updating. I know Tyler posted back a couple of months ago about all the babies we (and when I say we I mean our friends) had born in the last year, but he didn't post any pictures which bothered me because why read a blog if you don't have any pictures??? So since Tyler and I don't have kids yet, we are loving this time of being the unofficial uncle and aunt of these babies. I know these are all old pics, but never fear I'm sure you will see a lot more of these faces on future blogs. The only one I don't have posted yet is our cousin Liam Bolling. We have pictures, but I can't seem to locate them at the moment, so you'll get to see him in another blog. So the baby kick off started with:
Kelsen Alivia Baughman 9lbs, 9oz on July 2nd.
The proud "uncle" Tyler
The proud parents Sam and Dave, which are actually now expecting baby Baughman #2. SURPRISE.....it was for them anyway!
So next we have Ayden Isaiah Gambill 8lbs 14oz. on August 6th. Little Ayden has shown all of us he is one tough cookie and a fighter......

Up next winning the biggest baby award is my cousin Anderson "Ridge" Thompson weighing 9lbs 15oz on September 10th
And last but not least we have Landon Cade Roper at 7lbs 3oz on October 1st. Since Wendi had a scheduled C-section (which is always nice for those of us that like to plan around things) I was able to take off work and be there for the whole thing. Since I was there 8yrs ago when Kayley was born, there was no way I was missing this one.

Jack on The Rocks
So, since Tyler has been such a slacker about updating our blog, I have decided to take over for now. I have to say I'm not typically the blogger, but have decided to give it a try and apologize in advance if I'm not quite as witty as Ty.
Now....on to the blogging part. So a few weeks ago around the beginning of Spring, I woke up to a gorgeous Saturday. I absoultely love being outside when the weather is nice and I felt this was a perfect day to be out and about. We had talked about visiting the Jack Daniels Distillery once the weather was nice and I thought this would be that perfect day. So we called up the Baughmans to see if they would be up for it. So a couple hours later we were off to Lynchburg and with a couple of wrong turns and one very scenic route later we were there.
We lucked out when we got there since there was a huge wait, but when we went in to get our tokens someone happened to be returing some tokens for group 1 and the lady working there handed them to us.....awesome! Although I think it was the influence of Kelsen, I mean seriously who can resist that face?
So, we headed out for the tour and had a blast. Our tour guide was born and raised in Lynchburg with the accent to prove it....man I thought I was country. Fortunately we were all able to translate, but was feeling sorry for those from the north and the couple that spoke little English. Overall it was a great day had by all with some great friends. Okay, so enough of the blogging and time to enjoy the pics.....
And here was our free shot of jack on the rocks.....
